Pure Vegetable-Tanned Premium Leather: The Foundation for Durability

Our commitment to quality starts with the raw material. We exclusively use pure vegetable (veg-tanned) high-quality leather.

This traditional tanning process is particularly environmentally friendly and guarantees a natural product of the highest standard:

• Wearing Comfort: Despite its thickness, the leather is pleasantly soft and supple.

• Feel & Look: All leather types are Aniline through-dyed.

  • Polished (3–3.5 mm thick): Classic colours Black, Brown, and Natural with a smooth, polished surface.

  • Antique (approx. 3.5–4 mm thick): Antique Black Matt and Antique Brown Matt with an elegant, matt-sanded finish.

Thanks to this material selection, every belt is not only robust but also develops a distinctive patina over time.

The Cutting Process: From Hide to Strap

After sourcing the leather hides, we begin the cutting process:

1. Machine Cutting: Standard widths (3 cm, 3.5 cm, and 4 cm) are cut using the strap-cutting machine.

2. Manual Custom Work: Wider belts and special custom orders are cut by hand to ensure the utmost precision.

Edge Finishing for Maximum Longevity

To ensure a long lifespan and a flawless appearance, the following steps are essential:

• Hand Finishing: The belt edges are rounded by hand. This gives the belt a better look and a more comfortable feel.

• Sealing: Subsequently, the belt edges are dyed by hand. This step serves to seal and enhance the edges.

The Perfect Fit: Skiving and Assembling the Components

The final step on the leather strap is the skiving of the underside at the end of the belt. Only this preparation allows for the perfect fit of the buckle and loop.

We offer you complete flexibility, as we manufacture every belt to the customer's exact waist size.

Extensive Buckle Assortment and Nickel-Free Options

Our high-quality buckle assortment provides a wide selection of finishes:

• Colours: Silver, Antique Silver, Shiny Nickel, Satin Nickel, Antique Brass, Solid Brass, and Stainless Steel.

• Options: For the standard sizes 30 mm, 35 mm, and 40 mm width, you can get a colour-matched loop and tip for some buckles. Leather loops are also available.

• Allergy Sufferers: Some of our buckles are nickel-free, which you can easily find via the search function in the shop.

Custom Combinations at No Extra Charge

If our sample combinations do not meet your expectations, we are able to offer you any feasible combination of buckle and leather colour at no extra charge.
